We are excited to invite families to our first School Council meeting of the year on Thursday September 25th at 6:00 PM. During this meeting, we will nominate our Executive Team. If you are interested in running for an executive position, please submit your nomination form to the office by Wednesday, September 17. You can also indicate your interest on the school start-up forms or email us at lake.simcoe.ps@yrdsb.ca.
School Council is a wonderful opportunity to share your ideas and insights on how we can continue to support our amazing Lake Simcoe students and community. We look forward to seeing many of you there!
Lake Simcoe P.S.'s school council is actively involved in supporting student achievement through the school plan for continuous improvement. School council meets on a monthly basis. Parents and community members are always welcome to attend the monthly meetings, to join one of the committees, or to send comments and suggestions at anytime.
You can engage in your child’s learning at home and school in many ways. The school council provides advice on school matters and helps to strengthen the important relationship between schools, families and their communities. The council includes family members, school staff and community members.
